Personal Colour Analysis
Refunds, Cancellations &
Rescheduling policy
At The Colour Boutique, every personal colour analysis session is prepared with care to provide you with a personalised and valuable experience. We understand that plans can change, and this policy explains how purchases, bookings, cancellations and rescheduling are managed.
1. Purchases and refunds
Purchases of personal colour analysis sessions are non-refundable for change of mind, changes in personal circumstances or an inability to attend a booked appointment, except where a refund or other remedy is required by law.
This applies whether you purchase a session and book an appointment immediately or purchase a session to book at a later date.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
2. Booking at a later date
If you purchase a colour analysis session without selecting an appointment time, you can arrange your booking at a later date, subject to availability.
Purchased sessions must be booked and used within 12 months of the purchase date, unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by law.
Please contact The Colour Boutique to arrange a suitable appointment.
3. Rescheduling individual appointments
We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise. If you need to change your appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time.
One reschedule is permitted without penalty, subject to availability, provided at least 24 hours' notice is given.
Additional rescheduling requests will be considered at our discretion.
Requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation, and the session may be forfeited.
Failure to attend without prior notice will be treated as a no-show, and the session may be forfeited.
Please contact us as early as possible if you need to make a change. We will do our best to accommodate you.
4. Late arrival
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrival may mean your session needs to be shortened to avoid affecting other bookings.
If we are unable to proceed because of a significant late arrival, the appointment may be treated as a missed session.
5. Online colour analysis
Online colour analysis is a personalised service based on the photographs and information supplied by the client.
Photo submission
Clients must supply clear photographs and any requested information in accordance with our photo guidelines within 60 days of purchase.
If the photographs are unsuitable for analysis, we may request additional or replacement photographs before proceeding.
If the required photographs and information have not been received within 60 days, we may contact you to arrange a suitable timeframe. If you remain unresponsive, the booking may expire, subject to any rights you may have under applicable law.
Commencement of work
Work on your online colour analysis will commence once we have received the required photographs and information and confirmed that they are suitable for analysis.
Once work has commenced, the booking cannot be cancelled for a change of mind, subject to any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Delivery and Zoom follow-up
Your online analysis and personalised materials will be delivered electronically.
Your purchase includes a 30-minute Zoom follow-up session, which must be booked and used within three months of delivery of your completed colour analysis, unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by law.
You are responsible for providing a valid email address and arranging your follow-up appointment within this period.
If The Colour Boutique is unable to complete or deliver the purchased service, we will work with you to arrange an appropriate solution in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
6. Appointments at the client's premises
Where a personal colour analysis is arranged at your home or another agreed location, any applicable travel fees and other additional costs will be confirmed before the booking is finalised.
All agreed travel fees and additional costs must be paid in full before the appointment. We reserve the right not to attend or commence the session if these amounts have not been paid.
Clients must ensure that the agreed location is safe, accessible and suitable for the session. Please advise us in advance of any access restrictions, parking requirements or other circumstances that may affect the appointment.
The standard cancellation and rescheduling policy applies to these appointments.
If the session cannot proceed because the location is unsafe, inaccessible or unsuitable, we will discuss reasonable alternatives with you. Any cancellation, rescheduling or refund will be handled in accordance with the agreed booking terms and applicable law.
If we need to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, including illness, severe weather or travel disruptions, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange an alternative appointment.
7. Group sessions and workshops
Group bookings are arranged based on the agreed number of attendees, session duration, location and any specific requirements discussed with the organiser.
Payment and confirmed numbers
Full payment for the agreed number of attendees is required in advance of the session, by the due date specified in your booking confirmation or invoice.
The organiser is responsible for confirming attendee numbers, coordinating the group and communicating relevant arrangements to participants.
Changes to attendee numbers
Any request to reduce the confirmed number of attendees must be made at least seven days before the scheduled session.
After this deadline, the agreed booking fee remains payable, and no refund will be provided for reduced attendance or individual no-shows, subject to any rights or remedies required by law.
Additional attendees may only be included with our prior approval and may incur an additional fee.
Rescheduling or cancelling a group booking
Requests to reschedule or cancel a group booking must be made at least seven days before the scheduled session.
One reschedule may be permitted, subject to availability and agreement with The Colour Boutique. Requests made with less than seven days' notice will be considered at our discretion.
Where a group booking is cancelled or cannot proceed, any refund or other remedy will be handled in accordance with the agreed booking terms and applicable law.
If The Colour Boutique needs to cancel or reschedule a group session, we will contact the organiser as soon as possible to arrange an alternative date or an appropriate remedy.
Specific arrangements for corporate events, larger workshops or other customised group bookings may be agreed in writing before payment.
8. Cancellations by The Colour Boutique
On occasion, circumstances may require us to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
We will notify you as soon as possible and work with you to arrange an alternative time.
If we are unable to provide your purchased service, we will offer an appropriate solution, including a refund where required, in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
